Kobold Hall The Nerath Campaign & The Nerath Timeline The current year for our Nerath campaign is set during the year 103AE. Inspired By Gary Gygax

Like Kalton Manor, the wreck now known locally as Kobold Hall was the estate of a minor lord who came to Nentir Vale to establish his own residence. Ruined during the Bloodspear War, the old castle has been abandoned for almost a century and the lord's name and glories he earned are long forgotten. Since then kobold tribes from the Cloak Wood now lurk in the catacombs beneath the ruins. The ruined manor, a crumbling estate currently overlooks the old King's Road.

The Cloak Wood has started to overrun the grounds, with trees growing in the midst of abandoned gardens and courtyards. The tribes squabble with each other, raid surrounding settlements, and attack caravans on the old King’s Road. Lately, the kobolds have become more aggressive. The Skull Kicker tribe has taken over or driven off the rival tribes. Recently, the Skull Kickers stole a wagon loaded with valuable cargo from a caravan on the King’s Road.
